The Big Yellow Coffee community began in Southern California with close friends who shared a love for the Pacific Ocean and incredible coffee. The founders all had the privilege to lifeguard the beaches of Coronado, California alongside Lance Mann, the World’s Oldest Beach Lifeguard, former Navy UDT, teacher, restaurateur, and most importantly an example of a free man.

The legendary Lance Mann inspired the younger generation in his hometown to have the courage to set out to become entrepreneurs, military service members, and professional watermen. BYC is here and a result of the personal impact he made on the founders.
